ExitTicket is a free tool that aims to provide personalized instruction and targeted interventions by helping teachers track student understanding through formative assessments. This online tool makes it possible for teachers to quickly assess whether students are absorbing a lesson in real time. Teachers can adjust instruction during the course of a class by either reviewing material that students are tripping over or speeding up if they understanding the points. Teachers can see a dashboard of student results in real time; teachers can also share that view with students. ExitTicket also saves student performance so that students and teachers can monitor progress.
