Infographics are detailed visual representations of information, data or knowledge. Today infographics are ubiquitous. They serve as a short hand for everyday concepts. Why not utilize them as an alternative for students to process and present curriculum information quickly and clearly?
Students will utilize information, visual and technology literacies when creating the final infographic project. There is no need for special layer based image editor software or online creation tools. Text, picture, color and shape are the key elements in creating highly pleasing and informative infographics. By utilizing basic tools in PowerPoint you and your students can produce educational infographics with information collected from the curriculum and from research.
