Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The Beamz is an interactive music system that uses lasers to trigger musical instruments, sound effects, songs and more. The Beamz can be used to differentiate instruction, convey learning concepts, develop innovative therapy methods to help address sensory needs of students and much more. This session is designed for any teacher or therapist responsible for supporting the instructional goals of students with special needs and will provide an overview of the Beamz (hardware and software) and current implementation best practices within LCPS classrooms. Participants will brainstorm ideas for use within respective classrooms. Upon the conclusion of this workshop, participants will have the opportunity to check-out the Beamz for a one week trial period during FY16. Only those participants attending this workshop may check out the LCPS AT Beamz from the AT Lending Library.
