SnagIt is a software program that is installed on all LCPS AV computers and can be used to convert online videos or pictures into MP4s, WMV files, and many other formats.

SnagIt can also be used for creating screen capturing videos. Using SnagIt, educators can essentially video record a lesson of their own making using their voice, their materials, and can fit the lesson into a school appropriate timeframe. Videos such as this have a endless uses including being uploaded to VISION for student review, a place to send students who were absent, and as a window into your classroom for parents, administrators, and student teachers or mentees. SnagIt videos can also be played by substitutes for a planned absence.
