Are you ready to have your students bring their own devices to school? Come ask questions and talk to teachers, a TRT and an administrator from Guilford Elementary, one of the five elementary schools to begin BYOT this year. We will talk to you about the steps we took to ensure the successful roll-out of BYOT with our 5th graders. We will give you suggestions for implementing BYOT in your school, as well as give you examples of how individual teachers have successfully incorporated multiple types of devices in their classroom. We will share firsthand accounts of actual classroom usage, as well as suggestions for apps, websites, and activities that students have enjoyed using in class.
